On the back of the box
It should have been an ordinary hotel stay. His keycard opens room 742, but the room is already taken: a stranger is inside, and instead of apologizing and heading back to the front desk, he stays. The air is thick with questions neither man asks. Then comes a knock at the door. On the threshold stands the stranger's wife, and finding him there doesn't surprise her at all. As it turns out, she chose him herself. She doesn't want him to leave. She would much rather pull up a chair and watch.
