On the back of the box
She haunts the city after dark, a vampire who amuses herself with men, takes what she needs from them and then lets them go without a backward glance. He is nobody special, just a decent guy going out of his way to help a stranger. Their paths cross by chance, and neither of them has any idea what that small kindness has set in motion. He is the one desire she cannot shake, and the one indulgence she refuses to permit herself, no matter how hungry she gets.
